Let's Caucus in California!

The Iowa Caucuses will be past history. Let's experiment with a caucus right here in Orange County. Come at 6:30 to start talking with others about your favorite presidential candidate. We'll have a section of the room set up for each candidate. By 7:15, your group will need to chose a spokesperson (or two) for your candidate. Each candidate's group will have 5 minutes to present the reasons why that candidate should be chosen to represent the Democratic Party in the presidential election. Up to 5 minutes of questions will be allowed for each candidate's proponents.

After the presentations and questions, everyone who is undecided, or who wishes to change candidates, will move to the group of the candidate they wish to support, and we'll take a straw poll.

Come and join the fun and get ready to vote in our primary in February. Learn how you can support your candidate and our local candidates by helping to get out the vote.

As usual, you can order food, drinks and snacks, and we encourage you to do so. Our host, Spoons California Grill, graciously provides us with a private area for our meetings free of charge, so we need to thank them by ordering some of their good food.

Spoons is conveniently located right off the 55 Freeway at the Dyer Exit, close to both the 405 and 5 Freeways. Hotel Terrace is just off Grand Avenue.
